The world is your classroom

What a better place to practice & learn Arabic than in the Middle East.

Since 2006, we have been organizing study trips to Morocco, Egypt, Syria, UAE, and Andalusia (southern Spain). Due to the political stability and its rich culture, we chose Morocco as our preferred destinations for many recent trips.

Building confidence in Arabic

Engaging with the locals, feel the true local experience

The study trip and its activities are designed and coordinated by Proficient Language, sometimes supported by local institutions. Over at Morocco, we engage a local tour operator for our accommodation, transport and meals.

During the Study trips, our students explore famous tourist sites while at the same time engaging with locals with the Arabic they have learned. We also go off the beaten track to feel the true local experience. They normally return with much improved Arabic, strong confidence in speaking Arabic, and unforgettable memories.

The beauty of Sahara Desert

Ride a camel into the desert to a spectacular sunrise

Your trip to Morocco won’t be complete without an expedition to the Sahara. We’ll climb aboard SUVs to make our way down to the desert, pausing along the way to explore historic camel caravan just like the time of Rasulullah ﷺ and his companions. Sleep under the stars of the brilliantly clear night sky and ride a camel into the desert to a spectacular sunrise.

What People Say

On January 2015, I embarked on a learning journey to Morocco with my fellow peers under Proficient Language Centre. It was a first for most of us and definitely an unforgettable experience.

The best part was how we got to witness the vast and scenic view of the Sahara Desert. Our night spent there was magical as we laid down outside our tents, marvelling at the stars up above.

Then morning came and we rode camels, witnessed the sunrise and sliding down the sand. Truly, the whole time spent there brought serenity to us, something we could hardly get back home."
